Figure Out The World’s Healthies Countries
Italy appeared in the first place as the world’s healthiest country in the world, according to Bloomberg’s Global Health Index.
The index, which includes 163 countries, takes into consideration several variables such as “life expectancy, causes of death and health risks ranging from high blood pressure and tobacco use to malnutrition and the availability of clean water,” according to Bloomberg.
Italy managed to top Iceland, Switzerland, Singapore and Australia with 93.11 points despite the myriad economic problems it suffers.
The U.S. came in the 34th place due to high obesity rate and risks of higher blood pressure and cholesterol and poorer mental health.
